Making a Purchase

Making a purchase could not be easier. Just browse our store and add any items that you wish to buy into the shopping cart. After you have finished your selection, click on 'Checkout' and you will be asked for a few details that we need to be able to complete the order. By placing an order you will be deemed to have read, understood and agreed to these terms and conditions. These terms and conditions and your use of the website are governed by English law.

We accept credit card payment. All transactions are shown in pounds sterling (£). If you are shopping from outside the UK, place your order and your credit card company will convert the transaction to your own currency.

We accept most major credit cards. You may send your credit card information via phone, post or over the internet. Payment over the internet is via Sage Pay secure service

When confirmation of order is received, this is to indicate that we have received your order. It does not indicate that a contract exists between us. We will indicate acceptance of your order, and hence a contract between us, when we send you an invoice. We have included this term to protect us in the case a mistake has been made in pricing, we have inadvertently under-priced goods, or we are no longer able to supply a particular product for some reason. In the case of a change of price, we will always contact you first to ensure that the price is acceptable.

Shipping & Handling

Orders to be delivered in the UK are shipped by first class post unless you request Special Delivery which will require a signature. International deliveries are made by airmail.

Post and packing charges for standard first class delivery are £3.50 for orders under £25 and £4.50 for values £25 - £50 and free for orders over £50. International and Special Delivery requests are calculated and shown before you are asked to enter personal details in the check out process.

If you live close to our offices in Maidenhead, you may select the free 'local I wish to collect' option. We will contact you when the order is available to collect and agree a mutually convenient time.

Delivery Schedule

All products are made to order and will be dispatched within 28 days. Dispatch is usually 2-3 weeks. If you require a shorter delivery time, please contact us and we will advise if it is possible.

Tax Charges

All prices quoted on this website are accurate at the time of publication and are quoted in pounds sterling (£) and where appropriate are inclusive of UK sales tax (VAT) at the current rate. If your order is being despatched to a destination outside the European Community (EC) then your sales tax will be zero. If your order is being sent to a member state of the EC then the selling price will include VAT at the current rate. The current rate of VAT is 15%. Any customs or import duties levied once the package reaches your destination country will be your responsibility as we have no control over these charges and cannot predict them.

Credit Card Security

When the order is placed at our website, credit card numbers are encrypted using 128 bit encryption. They are only decrypted after they reach our computer. They are not held in clear text on any web site. We use Sage Pay and their secure payment service to ensure your maximum protection.

Privacy Policy

Picklepot Designs do not disclose customers' information to third parties other than a necessary part of the order fulfilment process. In this case, the third party will not disclose any of your details to any one else.

Cookies are used on this shopping site to keep track of the contents of your shopping cart, to store delivery addresses if the address book is used and to store your details if you select the 'Remember Me' Option. They are also used after you have logged on as part of that process. You can turn off cookies within your browser by going to 'Tools | Internet Options | Privacy' and selecting to block cookies. If you turn off cookies, you will be unable to place orders or benefit from the other features that use cookies.

a. Take and fulfill customer orders

Returns Policy

As all goods are made to order, refunds are only available if the goods are damaged or there is an error in your order on our part. All damaged or faulty goods must be notified to us as soon as possible and in any case no more than 14 days after you receive them.

Limitation of Liability

The entire liability of Picklepot Designs under or in connection with any contract to which these conditions apply shall not exceed the price of the products ordered.
